“I travel about 2 hours one way to work at UPMC Children’s Hospital, and I get a lot of comments and questions about my commute. I just tell everyone that it really doesn’t seem that far to travel for a job that I love!” Cathy said.
“I came to UPMC Children’s after many years of working in community hospitals. First, I was welcomed by my department and coworkers, who told me they were glad to have me here. Second, I was able to find a position in the Hematology/Oncology department that I really enjoy. It gives me great purpose and I love the work that we do there.
